New Homes
This Timberpeg post and beam plan included an early American style exterior, complete with cupola. Its simple lines harmonize with the barn and other outbuildings. The home's front door opens directly into the great room, with a dramatic cathedral ceiling and a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace at one end. The dining area and kitchen are at the opposite end. Structurally this home was built using the TF Insulated Concrete Building System. Framed with 26 gauge galvanized I-beam studs, the concrete wall panels incorporate 2 1/2", high density expanded polystyrene (EPS) achieving a thermo rating of R-25. This advanced system delivers very low heating and cooling costs, an excellent 3 hour fire rating and a very good sound reduction rating of 60db, while the interior finish features a classic craftsman style.
